...or not at all.
Instead of the Latin "De Mortuis Nil Nisi Bonum" which means "Speak kindly of the dead or not at all", I liked it better as "Speak kindly TO the dead or not at all". I made the picture with the thought in mind that after death so many people are not treated with respect and that their corpses are treated as science experiments, being mutilated and graves often are vandalized and knocked down. The girl in the picture has great respect for the dead and looks after them, living with them in their crypts and praying for them. Media:Micron pens in red and black. |

 reports, 1d 17h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board.
